SHS(Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis) ceramic lined composite steel straight pipe utilize self-propagating high-temperature synthesis centrifugal technology. The inner layer of corundum ceramic (α-Al2O3) has a Mohs hardness of 9.0, with wear resistance exceeding ordinary steel pipes by 20 times, making it an ideal choice for long-distance transportation. It can withstand continuous erosion from materials during long-distance conveying, significantly extending the pipeline's service life. Its inner surface is smooth with minimal fluid resistance, reducing energy consumption during long-distance transportation. It combines the strength of steel pipes with the corrosion resistance of ceramics, operating stably between -50°C and 900°C, making it suitable for conveying various materials. Weighing only half of traditional wear-resistant pipes, it is particularly ideal for long-distance transportation of powders and slurries in mining, power generation, and other fields, offering outstanding comprehensive benefits. Product Performance (1)Excellent wear resistance:The SHS ceramic-lined composite steel pipe, with their inner lining made of alumina ceramics (α-Al2O3), exhibit a Mohs hardness of up to 9.0, equivalent to HRC90 or higher. Therefore, they possess high wear resistance to abrasive media conveyed in industries such as metallurgy, electric power, mining, and coal. Industrial operation confirms that their wear-resistant lifespan is ten times or even several tens of times longer than quenched steel. (2) Low operating resistance: The SHS ceramic lined composite steel pipe is smooth and has permanent anti-corrosion properties. Fluid dynamics tests show that its inner surface roughness is significantly lower than that of metal pipes, with a clear water friction coefficient of only 0.0193 (lower than that of seamless steel pipes). Coupled with its unique surface self-optimization effect (where the friction coefficient continuously decreases during operation), it can greatly reduce fluid transportation resistance and effectively reduce long-term operating energy consumption. (3) Corrosion resistance and anti-scaling properties: Because the inner lining ceramic layer is made of (α-Al2O3),it has excellent resistance to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salt spray, and can withstand various chemical erosions. Its inner surface is smooth and highly inert, resulting in small liquid flow resistance and effectively preventing the adhesion and deposition of scale and impurities, significantly reducing the scaling rate. (4) Excellent thermal resistance and heat shock resistance: Because the alumina ceramic (α-Al2O3) maintains a single and stable crystalline structure, the ceramic-lined composite steel pipe can operate normally within a temperature range of -50 to 900℃ for an extended period. The material's coefficient of linear expansion is 6-8 x 10-6/℃, approximately half that of steel pipes. Therefore, corundum ceramic has excellent thermal stability. (5) Low engineering cost: The ceramic lined composite steel pipe is lightweight and cost-effective, being 50% lighter than cast stone pipes and 20-30% lighter than wear-resistant alloy pipes of the same inner diameter. Due to their wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and long service life, they can significantly reduce costs for supports, handling, installation, and operation. (6) Easy installation and construction: The ceramic lined composite steel pipe is lightweight with good welding performance, and can be installed by welding, flange, or quick connectors, making construction convenient.
